Maria Forgo offers custom covered furnishings and interior design accessories.  By using various exotic materials, her pieces present quality, style and elegance.  It all started in 1980.  Forgo was hired by Karl Springer to cover address books and boxes in an assortment of fine materials.  In the twelve years, she has worked for him, the horizon broadened by adding furniture and other pieces.

After Springer, she continued to work with designers and private clients.  Her products appeared in Architectural Digest, House and Garden and Metropolitan Home under the name of the designer.

Forgo does not provide the piece to be covered nor does she provide the covering material.  She applies her creativity and layout of the material she uses.
